About Me

My photo
Hi my name is Jennifer and I am a stay at home mom. I worked for a non profit organization for 10 years and then last year I was able to start staying home with my beautiful 3 year old daughter Addison. I have learned a lot about myself this past year. I love to do crafts and paint and anything that involves DIY projects. I also found a love for coupons and saving our family money on groceries. Extreme couponing is not what I do but I do alright price matching and clipping a few coupons. I just started with the whole Freebie craze and is it addicting once they send your sample in the mail or you get that subscription to your favorite magazine just for taking a survey. I want to just share crafts ,makeover on furniture , the deals I get with my coupons and the freebies that come in the mailbox with you. I am not a professional writer. I am sure you have already found misspelled words and messed up sentences. I am just a Mom wanting to share my crazy, wonderful, unpredictable, amazing life with other mothers.

Halloween Decoration's

So after we made the monster on the front door, our porch still seemed like it needed more. I had some spare wood sitting in the garage, so I cut it into 5 different size pieces, sanded it down and grabbed some paint brushes and paint.

The wood on top of the pumpkins are sticks that I hot glued on. The wrap on the mummy was co-flex that I guess came in a first-aid kit we had. My husband found some screws that I drilled into Frankenstien's neck. It was a really fun and simple project to do with my daughter. This weekend we are going to the pumpkin patch. I can't wait to add the pumpkin's .

Halloween Front Door

So we took my dog BooBoo for a walk, and my daughter and I were noticing all of the pretty decorations people were starting to set out for Halloween. So we decided to decorate our front door. After looking at Pinterest and gathering up  some scrap felt , paper and tape this is what we came up with.

Freebies and Samples

I started getting into the whole Freebie and Sample craze last month. Now all of my free stuff is arriving in the male everyday. My daughter and I get so excited to go to the mailbox, and see what we got . So I thought I would share the web sites that I found and the ones that I really like.

My favorite site is Smiley360 https://smiley.socialmedialink.com/home . At Smiley you get mission's, to try out free products and review them on there site. So far I have been sent Seventh Generation soap, to try and I have received 3 other missions that I am waiting to receive (Chapstick, Children's Advil and Tazo Chai)

Sites that are like Smiley are Pinch ME https://www.pinchme.com/ I really Like Pinch ME. Once a month they have new samples on there site. You go on, and pick the one's that you like , and you get your Pinch Me box in the mail. You just have to do a simple review of the product's.

Swaggable http://swaggable.com/ is another simple review site. I have received a full size sample of
Green Bark Gummies-Skin & Coat from them. My dog loved these treats.

Bzzagent https://www.bzzagent.com/ and Crowdtap http://home.crowdtap.com/  are similar review sites.

If you want Free Magazines or earn points for free stuff  these sites are good ones.

Seventh Generation Natural Hand Wash Review

I received  "Seventh Generation Natural Hand Wash" from Smiley360 for free to review. I think the slogan said it all. Life is complicate. Soap should be simple. Isn't that the truth? I loved the Seventh Generation Natural Hand Wash. When you pumped it out it was thin, and not thick, like some of the other brands of soap. The natural hand wash had a good lather to it also. You felt like your hands were getting clean. The smell was wonderful. I would absolutely buy this product. If you would like to try this product here is a 20%  promo code:Smiley20 exclusively at SeventhGeneration.com.

TRASH TO ART

Recycle your toilet paper rolls.

First you will need to save your toilet paper roll

Then you will need to cut into little pieces and decide your pattern.

After that I picked my color and painted my canvas.

I then started the task of painting the toilet paper rolls.

Finally I used my glue gun to attach the rolls to the canvas.
(A little dab will to the job)
